how to use the interactive neighborhood search

< Back to Interactive Neighborhood Map Search

Browser Support
The map search is supported by Internet Explorer version 6.0 and up and Firefox version 1.5 and up.

using the neighborhood map

When you locate a neighborhood of interest, click once and the neighborhood will turn orange indicating it is selected. To deselect a neighborhood, click the map again and the neighborhood will turn back to light blue and be deselected in the list.

When clicked, the neighborhood and its corresponding sub-neighborhoods will be automatically selected in the comprehensive checklist to the left of the map and a street level detail map will appear in the lower left hand corner. You can double click on the map to zoom in, or drag the map to display a different area. Selecting another neighborhood will bring you to the new area and the default zoom.

using the neighborhood list

If you cannot find a neighborhood on the map, you can scroll through the comprehensive list and select manually. Selecting the neighborhoods from the list will not display on either map.

additional search criteria

Below the neighborhood search you can select search criteria (max price, bedrooms, etc) by clicking the dropdown menus and choose additional criteria (price changes, new on market, condo or town home, etc) by clicking the corresponding check boxes. Click "submit your search" to view listings within your specified criteria. If your search produces zero results, you may want to revise the search by broadening your search criteria.
