South of Edgewater and east of Lincoln Square is Uptown, a lakefront community with a rich history as one of Chicago real estate’s most popular neighborhoods and entertainment centers. Buena Park is an area of renovated condominiums, apartments and a few single-family homes including a historic district of 19th century Georgian and Prairie-style residences. Located next to Wrigleyville, it is just a short walk to Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, and also offers access to Lincoln Park. Margate Park is a lakefront neighborhood of tree-lined streets and architecturally important homes, as well as vintage condominiums and high-rises lining North Marina Drive overlooking the lake. Sheridan Park is a unique residential community with gracefully curving streets lined by large vintage homes as well as alternate housing choices including six-flats, apartments and converted condominiums.
