Budlong Woods is a residential area that is bisected by the North Branch of the Chicago River, offering both single-family residences and two-flats, often with large, well-maintained yards. Ravenswood Gardens, situated just east of the Chicago River, is a classic residential community of single-family brick bungalows and tidy two- and three-flats.
