About Michael

The combination of a sales background, construction knowledge and a passion for real estate is what drives Michael to succeed in the real estate industry.  Utilizing his experience in sales/marketing and the unique ability to evaluate a property from the inside out gives Michael the skills he needs to best serve his clients.  He believes that understanding the real estate market is important, but understanding your client and their goals is essential.

Attracted to its diverse neighborhoods and rich culture, Michael moved to Chicago in 1995, after receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa.  Michael spent his first 3 years working in engineering sales before successfully starting MDK Development Inc., a contracting company that specialized in rehabbing single family homes and multi-unit buildings.
