Clarke’s Opens a New Downtown Location
For any resident of Chicago real estate that attended Northwestern or DePaul University, you are definitely already familiar with Clarke’s, the quintessential Chicago diner. If not, you’ve probably ridden by their sign while on the L; it exclaims, “Oh my, you should eat!” Open late night and offering heaping servings of breakfast all day, Clarke’s is simply a local favorite and already has locations in Evanston, Lakeview, and Lincoln Park. Now, Clarke’s is set to open in a downtown location, allowing residents of downtown Chicago condos and homes to experience the goodness without heading north. The new location will be their biggest yet– 6,650 square feet– and can be found on West Erie Street in the River North neighborhood. A location in Wicker Park is also in the process of opening! For River North residents who enjoy a casual brunch spot, this is your new favorite eatery.Bull & Bear Owners Start a New Venture
If you live in downtown Chicago real estate, you have probably heard of River North weekend hotspot Bull & Bear, a sports bar obviously geared toward banking set and featuring table taps of beer. If you haven’t visited the place yet, it’s probably just because the line to get in was too long! Well, here’s some good news– the successful owners are opening another pub, also in River North. The new venture is a “beercentric” pub, but it will be noticeably different than Bull & Bear or Stone Lotus, a night club owned by the same company. The not-yet-named new location will have a space twice as large as Bull & Bear and a menu of “contemporary American comfort food” but will keep the popular table taps that patrons have come to love. Looks like you won’t have to wait in line to get into one of these nightlife spots come September!
Chicago luxury real estate owners in the downtown and Loop areas already know that there are a lot of place to choose from when it comes to dining, shopping and nightlife– but who doesn’t want more variety? We’ll be headed downtown to check out these new spots and think you should, too.
