Montrose and Addison streets bound the upbeat neighborhood of Irving Park. This northwest neighborhood of Chicago is a sought-after spot for many young professionals, who make up the majority of homeowners of Irving Park real estate.

The Old Irving Park Association plans annual, entertaining events for their fellow active neighbors. Activities include a Holiday Potluck, Spring Egg Hunt, June Ice Cream Social and special childrens’ events.

Residents often stop in at the bustling Irish pub, Mcnamara’s, for a delicious bite or a cold pint (don’t forget to try the burgers!). Those who want to be transported back to the 1950s enjoy Olga’s Delicatessen because of the cheery owner and the mouth-watering sandwiches. For the adventurous shopper, a day can easily be spent perusing Irving Park’s charming thrift stores, like the Unique Thrift Store.

While its residents are energetic and constantly looking to better their community, Irving Park has immensely historic roots. In fact, architecture fans swarm to this mecca of historic buildings, many of which were built in the 19th century. The Peoples Gas Irving Park Neighborhood Store, a famous Chicago landmark, rests in this neighborhood.

Owners of Irving Park condos an Irving Park homes adore their community for it’s historically rich backdrop and spirited neighbors.
