About Jim

Jim Murrin began his real estate career in 2001 after honing his sales and marketing experience with a fortune 500 consulting firm. With a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing, Jim combines his education and professional experience to provide an exceptional level of sales expertise to his clients.

Consistently ranked in the top 1% of The Chicago Association of Realtors, Jim’s career sales volume exceeds $250 million. He has successfully brought to market numerous new construction developments and has sold over 1,000 properties.

Jim is well versed in all aspects of the real estate industry including Short Sales, REO, new construction, resale, buyer brokerage, property management, leasing, and foreclosures. Jim set a new Jameson record for transactions in 2009 - with over 100 transactions closed. The vast majority of those deals were short sales and bank owned property. Jim has the experience and knowledge to help homeowners that are in a short sale situation.

Having lived in Chicago for over 15+ years, Jim is familiar with most Chicago neighborhoods and surrounding suburbs. He has a pulse on the Chicago real estate landscape which gives his clients an advantage. Additionally, Jim is a team leader for the REO & Short Sales Division of Jameson.
