CHICAGO (Oct. 20, 2011) – Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty today announced that Pamela Tilton was named President of Brokerage Operations and Managing Broker of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty as Gay Johnson, the firm’s previous Managing Broker retires from her role.
Tilton, one of Chicagoland’s elite brokers, is excited to join a local brand with global reach. “Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty is a brand with established local roots and extraordinary international exposure. “This global exposure adds credibility and reach where a purely local company cannot,” said Tilton.
After a long and distinguished 20 year career at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, Gay Johnson has retired as Managing Broker but will be remain with the firm as a Broker Associate. “After expressing my retirement wishes months ago to enjoy a more flexible schedule as a Broker, being part of the selection committee for Pamela Tilton to lead our agents was a thrill. She has the talent and reputation to not only continue what I have started but to create new opportunities for this wonderful company.”

Pamela Tilton, previously @ properties Executive Vice President of Broker Services, Managing Broker of @ properties Gold Coast / Streeterville office and President of @ properties Commercial, brings incredible knowledge of both residential and commercial brokerage to Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. Tilton’s real estate career spans 14 years beginning at Habitat then at @ properties where she created a thriving operation for the last 7 years. She sees this new role as a tremendous opportunity. “I have been impressed with Jameson through the years and admire their achievements. In the role as Executive Vice President of Brokerage Operations, Tripti Kasal will work closely with Pamela on brokerage and operations as well as strategic agent planning. Kasal began her career at Jameson over 20 years ago as a Commercial Agent and Assistant Manager. She left to enjoy a successful career as Broker/Owner of her own firm and rejoined Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty in October of 2010 with her team from Helios Realty. “Coming back was like coming home and my new role allows me to continue with our agent training program while contributing to the overall success of our firm. Pam and I both have experience in commercial and residential brokerage and together will make a very powerful team.”
